This event was celebrated in the Auditorium of the PRBB in Barcelona (Spain), the 17th and 18th of November of 2022.

The purpose of the symposium was to bring together experts in genomics and precision medicine from academic and private sectors. The Symposium is organized on occasion of a new initiative funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science to sequence whole genomes from a cohort of patients with type 2 diabetes, yet plans to extend the discussion beyond diabetes. 

The symposium was organized by Urko Marigorta, Arcadi Navarro, Jorge Ferrer, Silvia Bonas-Guarch, Jesús Blanco and Sara Guerrero.
